40-inch sheet-fed printing machine‘s nano-printing process, a digital printing machine that uses nano-ink to achieve innovative printing processes.
Impremia NS40 is a new generation digital printer that uses nano-printing process and is also called nano-image printing process. This innovative printing process uses Landa‘s NanoInk (nano ink) pigments for printing. This water-based nano ink is composed of pigment particles with a size of only tens of nanometers. In the nano-printing process, nano-ink is ejected onto the heated blanket through the inkjet print head in the state of billions of tiny ink droplets. When the ink falls on the heated blanket, the ink will spread out and lose moisture quickly, so the ink layer becomes thinner. When all the water is evaporated, the ink becomes an ultra-thin and dry polymer film. When the impression cylinder comes into contact with the printing material, this layer of ink with a thickness of only 500 nanometers will be transferred to the printing material immediately without permeation. The pattern printed by the nano-printing process has strong abrasion resistance and scratch resistance, so the printed sheet does not need to be dried after printing, and there will be no ink left on the blanket. Any type of existing printing materials (coated paper, offset paper, thick paper, plastic sheet, special paper) can be used for printing.
