2. Stir the ink fountain frequently
Frequently mixing the ink fountain refers to the ink in the ink fountain is stirred at intervals during the printing process. Frequently stirring the ink fountain to ensure continuous ink is the premise of ensuring uniform ink color before and after printing.
Ink is a plastic fluid with thixotropic properties that change gradually with the action of external forces. That is, under the condition that the ink maintains a certain temperature, after applying a certain external force to the stationary ink, the ink gradually becomes thinner and softer, and the rheology becomes better. When the external force stops stirring, the ink gradually thickens and hardens, and the fluidity becomes worse.
If the ink is not stirred for a long time, the ink fluidity is poor, which will make the ink poor in the ink hopper, resulting in the phenomenon of blocking ink or not inking, ink roller transfer ink, ink is difficult, plate ink is insufficient, it is difficult to reach the middle of the ink to break the remaining ink layer to protect the layout and cause the plate to drop. An ink agitator can be installed in the ink hopper to stir the ink at a constant speed to increase the fluidity of the ink. The ink in the ink tank can also be stirred with an ink knife.
3. Check the layout moisture frequently
Frequently check the layout moisture refers to the printing process, often constantly check the size of the plate layout moisture. In the process of printing operation, it is an important premise to correctly grasp and control the layout moisture, achieve the ink balance in the printing process, and correctly identify the layout moisture. Identification method of layout moisture size in the production process:
Number one. The visual method. In daily production, it is generally based on the operator‘s experience for visual inspection, the method is to use the lamp to shine the layout, and the size of the layout moisture is judged according to the strength of the layout reflection light. The thicker the water film, the stronger the reflection, and the thinner the water film, the weaker the reflection.
Number two. According to the printing fault phenomenon. If there is paste, dirty version phenomenon, should pay attention to whether the layout moisture is too small. If the printing appears dull, flower plate, curly, uneven paper receipt phenomenon, the layout moisture may be too large.
In the printing process, if you can adhere to the "three flat, three frequent, two small" process measures, you can stabilize and improve the output and quality of offset printing products.
